Aaron J. Underwood’s ‘Rogziel’ is the story of an angel who cannot fly, fighting an eternal war between Heaven and Hell while battling something far more dangerous than demons: his own unworthiness. Once a selfish thief named Raziel, who caused suffering without remorse, he was transformed into Rogziel, God’s wrath made flesh. Now he must lead a team against ancient evil while facing a perfect, merciless version of himself that proves his greatest enemy might be the doubt he carries within.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker.
About The Book
Rogziel
‘Rogziel’ follows an earthbound angel fighting in the endless war between Heaven and Hell across a desert that remembers nothing. Rogziel wields a flaming sword called Incandescent and serves as God’s wrath, but his past haunts him. In his mortal life, he was Raziel, a thief whose selfishness caused a desperate father’s death. He felt nothing, ran from consequences, and died alone. Divine judgment found him unworthy, but instead of destruction, his selfish skills were reforged. He became Rogziel, an angel meant for eternal service and combat, unable to fly as a reminder of his flawed origin.
When the demon commander Apollyon develops strategies that threaten creation itself, the Archangel Michael assembles an exceptional team. He chooses Rogziel not despite his darkness but because of it. Rogziel understands doubt in ways pure angels cannot. Joined by specialized angels, he must stop a ritual summoning Abbadon the Destroyer. The mission costs lives, and afterward, Rogziel faces the Mirror Demon, a perfect copy of himself without doubt or empathy. Defeated and broken, Rogziel must decide if his flaws can become strengths.

What Clients Says
Read how ‘Rogziel’ connected with readers who appreciate complex protagonists, theological depth, and action that serves character development. These reflections come from people who found substance alongside the spectacle.
Most angel and demon stories paint good and evil too simply. Rogziel is genuinely flawed. He was selfish, caused real harm, and becoming an angel did not make him whole. That honesty about moral complexity made the story far more compelling than typical heaven versus hell narratives. Loved it!

The Mirror Demon concept was brilliant. A perfect version of yourself without empathy or doubt, proving that your flaws might actually be what makes you valuable, that was a twist I did not see coming. That philosophical layer elevated what could have been just another battle scene. Defo recommend!!!

I appreciated that the team members were not interchangeable fighters. Each had specific skills and when two died, it mattered tactically and emotionally. The survivors had to adapt, grieve, and keep going. Too many books kill characters for shock value without showing real consequences. Here, the losses shaped what came after.

Sandra’s teachings about balance challenged the simplistic war narrative. The idea that the conflict is not just good versus evil but about maintaining cosmic balance added depth I did not expect from what looked like military fantasy. It made me reconsider the whole premise of eternal war and what victory would even mean. Recommended.
